Hand-painted sculpture made from wire, cast and papier-mâché. Created by the well-known greek artist Andreas Psarakos and it's his trademark artwork. A slight variation in the resulting colors, design or shapes may occur in the surface of each item, due to the fact that they're handmade and hand-painted.
He was born in Velo Korinthias and he began his painting lessons with Vrasidas Vlachopoulos as a teenager. Later on, Psarakos studied at Vakalo School of Arts & Design where he learned more about his artistic practice from Vangelis Dimitreas and Yannis Valavanidis. He continued his education at the German School of Graphic Studies and won a scholarship to study herbal colors in Crete. Moreover, he likes to create large-scale posters and also worked for theatrical performances. His colorful artworks are part of many private collections in Greece and abroad.
