Thierry Guetta is the French-born and Los Angeles-based street artist that goes by the name Mr. Brainwash. A provocative figure in the world of street art, he is known by the use of copyrighted images from various design fields, popular culture and history. His work hinges on the idea that anything is possible. "Art has no walls. Anybody can be an artist" he says. Important auction houses such as Christie’s and Phillips acquire his artworks extensively.
