Unique sculpture made from polyresin. It takes paint well, and has a similar appearance to porcelain and pottery. Design made by Jon Eastman at the original CowParade in New York, 2000. The production of CowParade cows is an intricate and challenging process. Each figurine is an exact replica of a life sized original from one of the worldwide CowParade events, the details must be reproduced as close to perfection as possible.

Every six months the team of CowParade devotees selects a number of new cows that appeared in an event somewhere around the world. Those selected will be added to the CowParade Herd. The selected cows are photographed and sent to the design team who carefully produce 3D clay models to ensure every detail is well-presented. The clay models are then used to create a production mould for each specific cow. They are carefully hand-painted, and most of the time a lacquer is applied to protect the model. The team of CowParade recommends not to put the sculptures in direct sunlight, because it might damage the paint or over time, change the colours.
