Sandro Grassetti was born in Macerata in 1966. Having worked for more than 30 years in the resin industry and having appreciated the versatility, he decided it was time to put his know-how at the service of his greatest passion: sculpting. In 2021 he began his production of artworks under the name Sagrasse.

Immediately his popularity as a contemporary artist grew, raising considerable interest from private collectors from all over the world. Each of his creations is modeled by hand, after being designed and 3D printed. After that the are finished, sanded and washed always by hand as well. Only when the surface is without any irregularities, they are lacquered and varnished. Every Sagrasse artwork is unique.
